Originally employed to write and edit IT policies and procedures and create and manage an online documentation database using Livelink so that hard-copy (paper) documents could be eliminated. Created the database within two months. The Network Operations center consisted of three groups: Documentation, Network Monitoring, and Problem Resolution. The latter two were call centers. Managed between eight and fifteen projects.

After receiving some ITIL training, became an in-house ITIL "expert," and was given the task of defining the measurements used to assess the IT group's implementation of ITIL. Created and regularly ran reports using Crystal Reports 7 through 10 on both P4 and Oracle databases. Analyzed IT performance using both SixSigma and Lean SixSigma. The most important aspect of this task was validating the data by carefully analyzing the reports and adjusting formulas to eliminate data which skewed the results. Because of my extensive education, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, became known as "the go-to person" whenever anyone needed a task performed for which no specific person in the company had responsibility. One such task was to create a logical pricing system for IT services using mathematical formulas that had the price of a service per unit drop as the number of units increased.
